DEEPMETA 3 - USER GUIDE - RELEASES

Attention

DeepMeta 3 is no longer supported. Please consider moving to the online DeepMeta 4, that runs in the browser.

For details, please check out the blog post: Announcing DeepMeta 4

We will do our best to provide maintenance updates, as long as our development tools allow.

Releases

DeepMeta stores a centralized list of all your Model and Property releases. This means you can re-use them across batches. This can be useful in certain cases like self-portrait releases, but remember that iStock normally requires a separate release for each photoshoot.

In the main DeepMeta window, click the 'Releases' section in the left-hand list:

DeepMeta Releases Interface

This will bring up the release list:

DeepMeta Add Release Buttons

Note: Each of these releases can be assigned to multiple files in multiple batches.

Adding releases to DeepMeta

Click the 'Add Model Release' or 'Add Property Release' button on the main DeepMeta toolbar to add releases:

DeepMeta Assign Releases in File Details

The release can be a 'JPG', 'PNG' or 'PDF' file. Note that for PDF files, only the first page is shown in the DeepMeta preview, however the entire PDF will be uploaded to iStock.

Assigning releases

You can assign releases to files in the File Details window.

To add new releases from within the 'File Details' window: click the '+ Model' or '+ Property' button:

Release Management Tips

Reusable Releases

Store releases centrally in DeepMeta to reuse them across multiple files and batches. This is especially useful for self-portrait releases or recurring models/properties.

File Format Support

Upload releases as JPG, PNG, or PDF files. For PDF files, DeepMeta shows only the first page in preview, but uploads the complete document to iStock.

Photoshoot Guidelines

Remember that Getty Images typically requires a separate release for each photoshoot, even when using the same model or property across multiple sessions.
