IMAGES TABOVERVIEW
Overview of the Images tab page

Switch to Mac OSX version
  • After startup of DeepMeta, the Images tab page is active: This is the main page that you will be using for most maintenance work and for adding new images. The right hand panel shows an instant preview of the thumbnail and description of the file, selected in the list. You can drag the vertical line between the list and the preview panel to resize and make it fit your needs.
  • A first means for filtering the shown files in the list are the Status and Types check-boxes. Activate all the ones for which you want corresponding files to be shown in the list.
  • For further filtering the shown files: type one or more words in the Filter box and hit the enter key, or click the Filter button. Only files will show up which have the filter word(s) in their keywords. If more than 1 word is typed: all the words must be present, i.e. it is an AND relation. You can enter multi-word terms by putting them between quotation marks, "clear sky". Filtering is not case-sensitive, so you don't have to worry about using capitals or not. You can clear the filter box by clicking the button with the red cross. If you're unsure about the applied rules, click the "?" button, and a Help window pops up with all details.
    A few examples:
    • dog : find all files with dog in the keywords/terms.
    • dog cute : find all files with dog AND cute in the keywords/terms.
    • blue "clear sky" : find all files with blue AND clear sky in the keywords/terms.
  • Sorting Columns: Click on a column header at the top of the list, to sort the list entries by that column (upwards). Click the header again to change the sorting order to downwards. The arrow shows the sorted column and its sort order.
  • By default, only a few columns with file data are shown in the list. You can add many more or remove the ones you don't need. Right-click on the list column header for the column you want to change. Choose:
    • Insert/Move column: This will insert the column you select from the list before the clicked column header, if the column was not yet in the list. If the column was already present, its position is moved. In the pop up list, the columns already shown are marked with a check-mark symbol
    • Remove column: This will remove the selected column from the list. You can add it back later at any time.
  • To maximize your useful screen area, right click on the file list header and click Auto-fit columns. This will automatically set the width for ALL columns to best fit the contents of each column.
  • Another useful option is to show extra information in the header:
    • Totals: Shows Total values for all files in your portfolio. In the example above: the entire portfolio has 13549 downloads.
    • Sub-totals: Shows Total values for all SHOWN files in the list. If the Filter box is empty, this value will equal the Totals value. In the example above: the shown subset, filtered for the keyword "child" has 6152 downloads.
    • %: Shows the percentage of the Sub-total value in relation to the Total value. In the example above: 45% of the downloads are for the shown/filtered files, i.e. the ones that have "child" as a keyword. In other words: 45% of the downloads are for files which have "child" as a keyword.
