Switch to Mac OSX version
  • When an image is selected in the Images tab page, press ENTER or Right-click and select Edit. Alternatively, you can double-click an image in the list. A new dialog window will popup, allowing you to edit the image details. The first tab page is the "General" page:
  • The left hand shows the form to enter all File details, the right hand side shows a live preview of the thumbnail and description. Drag the vertical slider bar between both sections to resize the preview panel. You'll want to keep the check box "Auto update" ticked, since it will update the description preview in real time. If you type UBB codes in the description field, the preview will immediately show the result as you type, and will properly display any UBB code in your text!
  • Enter all relevant image details. Make sure to use Ctrl-Enter if you want to insert a new-line in the Description box. For new files, select the Source media drop down: Digital or Scanned film. Check/uncheck the Allow prints, Allow extended licenses and Vetta boxes as desired. Note that the Vetta check box is disabled if you cannot nominate files, either because you are not exclusive, or because you ran out of nomination slots. For new files, the Vetta check box will show "Nominate for Vetta (x left)". If you tick this box, the file will be nominated for Vetta at upload. For existing (already uploaded) files, the Vetta check box will show "In Vetta collection", showing whether or not the file was accepted for Vetta. The check box can no longer be changed.
  • Click OK to confirm the changes. Note that these changes only apply to your local DeepMeta database. Press F6 (or from the main menu: "iStockphoto | Send updates to iStockphoto") to send all changes to the iStockphoto site.
  • If you want to see the relevant image details at the iStockphoto site in your internet browser: click the "View web page" button. To see the relevant Edit page at the iStockphoto site: click the "Edit web page" button. This works only if a default Internet browser has been configured for your system.
